Several years ago, the Kingston area Service Clubs met at a combined luncheon and celebrated serving our community while listening to a guest speaker. It was a time when community service was important, and participation in service clubs was robust. This tradition was sadly disrupted.
Fast forward to 2022. Many of us believe that it is time to bring the Service Clubs back together to talk about how our community has changed, the challenges of recruiting new members, and how we can potentially work together in service.
The Kingston Rotary Club, founded in 1916, is happy to host our 2022 reunion. It will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 12 noon at the Best Western in Kingston. The cost will be $30.00 per person.
Our guest speaker will be Peter Buffett, Co-President and Co-Chair the NoVo Foundation. As you know, NoVo has been instrumental in assisting numerous nonprofit organizations in our community. There will be a Q&A after the presentation.
